What to Pack

We want you to be as prepared for your ministry as possible when you arrive.
Here is what we suggest you bring.
- Bible
- Comfortable clothes
- Closed-toe shoes for work sites
- Shorts (Fingertips must reach the hemline when standing. No cheerleading-type shorts allowed.)*
- Shirts (No offensive or insensitive messages. No spaghetti straps or midriffs.)*
*No part of undergarments may be visible - Modest one-piece swimsuit
- Shower shoes
- Bedding (if staying in the dorms)
- Towels (if staying in the dorms)
- Toiletries
- Sunscreen
- Bug spray
- Spending money (for snacks, MLab and worship band merchandise, any off-campus activities)
- An attitude of servanthood and flexibility!
What NOT to bring:
- Alcohol
- Illegal substances
- Firearms
- Fireworks
- Dangerous weapons
- Skateboards
- Scooters
Extras to bring if you’re a group leader:
- Ice chests and coolers
- Bottled water to take to your work sites
- Any tools or materials your group needs**
**Unless stated otherwise by the Ministry Site Coordinator, all groups must bring the necessary tools for clean-up and construction sites. Likewise, groups doing children’s ministry (such as a Backyard Bible Club) are also responsible for bringing whatever supplies and materials they would like to use for the week.
