The Gospel Shines Bright

Session Overview

In this session Preston Nix encourages participants to see evangelism as a normal and joyful part of following Jesus rather than something reserved for experts or special moments. Drawing from his experience teaching evangelism in New Orleans he reminds us that fear is common but does not have to control us. God is already at work in the lives of people around us and invites us to join him with confidence and humility.

The heart of this teaching is learning to clearly share the gospel where we already are. Preston emphasizes that mission does not start when we arrive in New Orleans. It begins in our everyday conversations at home. As we grow in understanding the gospel and practice sharing it simply we become more ready to serve faithfully wherever God sends us.

Key Takeaways

  • God is already at work in the lives of people we meet
